Departments and Units

Organisational changes in the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment as of 1 January 2018. The aim of the changes is to support the implementation of the strategic targets in the Government’s growth policy. The Ministry will have four departments instead of five. The new organisation and management structure will be confirmed by 1 April 2018.

Corporate Steering Unit

The Unit is headed by Permanent Secretary Jari Gustafsson.
 

Employment and Well-Functioning Markets

The Department is headed by Director-General Pekka Timonen.
 

Innovations and Enterprise Financing

The Department is headed by Director-General Ilona Lundström.
 

Energy

The Department is headed by Director-General Riku Huttunen.

 

Regions and Growth Services

The Department is headed by Director-General Marja-Riitta Pihlman.
