289,700 unemployed jobseekers in February

Unemployed jobseekers at the end of February, a total of 289 700. This is 31 600 more than a year earlier.
The number of unemployed jobseekers rose by 31,600 from February of last year. The number of new vacancies reported totalled 66,700. In all, the number of unfilled vacancies in February was 151,400, which is 46,900 fewer than a year ago.
