Jenni Karjalainen and Ville Kopra named Special Advisers to the Minister of Employment

Timo Harakka, Minister of Employment, has named Jenni Karjalainen (M. Soc. Sc.) and Ville Kopra (M. Soc. Sc.), his Special Advisers.

Jenni Karjalainen’s previous position was Senior Advisor at the Union of Professional Engineers in Finland where she was in charge of social and industrial policy. She has previously worked at Miltton communications agency, as a Special Adviser to the Minister of Employment, and in specialist roles in the Confederation of Unions for Professional and Managerial Staff in Finland (AKAVA) and the Central Organisation of Finnish Trade Unions (SAK). 

Karjalainen holds a Master’s degree in Social Sciences. 

Before becoming a Special Adviser, Ville Kopra was the External Communications Manager at the Finnish Industrial Union. Previously he was a partner at Miltton communications agency. He has also worked as a Special Adviser at the Ministry of Finance, as the Director of the Kalevi Sorsa Foundation, and as an economist at the Central Organisation of Finnish Trade Unions (SAK).

Kopra holds a Master’s degree in Social Sciences.
