Finland will hold the six-month rotating presidency of the Council of the European Union from 1 July 2019. Responsibility for preparing matters concerning the EU’s growth and competitiveness will lie with the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment. The programme for Finland’s Presidency will be announced in June 2019.
