EU grants EUR 2.6 million to assist in the re-employment of ex-Nokia employees - Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment

18.5.2017 | The European Globalisation Fund will give a grant of EUR 2.6 million to Finland to support employees made redundant by Nokia. The money will be used to help over 800 unemployed to find new jobs.

Tiina Ahva appointed as a Special Adviser to Minister Lindström - Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment

28.12.2018 | Minister of Labour Jari Lindström has appointed B.SC (Tech.) Tiina Ahva (23) as a Special Adviser to the Minister. She will replace M.Sc. (B.A.) Juha Halttunen, who will become one of the directors of the advocacy agency Blic. Ahva will start in her post on 15 January 2019. Jami Arvola will continue as Special Adviser to Minister Lindström.
