Climate and Energy Strategy comprehensively to outline the measures required by the 2035 goal - Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment

25.9.2020 | The Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment has begun the preparation of a new national climate and energy strategy. It is being prepared in a coordinated manner with, and on the same knowledge base as, the medium-term climate plan, which in turn is drawn up under the leadership of the Ministry of the Environment. An opening webinar for stakeholders and experts in strategy work was held on 25 September 2020.

275,300 unemployed jobseekers in April - Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment

22.5.2024 | The number of unemployed jobseekers rose by 29,200 from April of last year. The number of new vacancies reported totalled 56,100. In all, the number of unfilled vacancies in April was 114,500, which is 55,900 fewer than a year ago.

2.10.2023 | On 28 September 2023, the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment appointed a working group to prepare measures to reform and develop employment services as outlined in the Government Programme. The working group on the development of employment services was appointed for the period from 2 October 2023 to 31 March 2027.
