21.11.2022 | The employment ministers of the Nordic Council of Ministers will meet in Oslo on Tuesday 22 November 2022. The Ministers will discuss an OECD research project that examines the effects of the coronavirus pandemic on the Nordic labour market. 6.6.2024 | The Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment began to update the low-carbon roadmaps together with the sectors in autumn 2023. In accordance with the Programme of Prime Minister Orpo’s Government, the roadmaps from 2020 have now been updated to correspond to the changed operating environment and technological development of sectors and companies. 1.7.2020 | A number of acts concerning maritime labour will be amended on 1 July 2020. The amendments concern the complaint procedure on board the ship, working time and rest periods, among others. 7.7.2022 | The consultation round for the draft legislative proposal of the TE services reform 2024 ended on 27 June 2022. A total of 373 statements were submitted by the deadline.
