According to the programme of Petteri Orpo’s Government, the state’s capital investment activities will be enhanced by bringing them under Finnish Industry Investment Group.
The company’s task is to promote the growth, competitiveness and internationalisation of Finnish businesses and the reform of industrial structures through capital investments.
Finnish Industry Investment Ltd (Tesi) makes fund investments in private equity funds to finance the growth of companies. Through its investment programmes, Tesi also makes direct investments in target companies in the growth and internationalisation phase as well as in certain target sectors. The company operates on market terms.
Tesi’s activities are governed by the Act and Decree on Finnish Industry Investment Oy. The Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment is responsible for the ownership and industrial policy steering of the company.
