Government agencies, companies and funds in the administrative branch of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment

The administrative branch of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment (MEE Group) comprises 23 government agencies subject to performance guidance. These are either agencies or regional Centres for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment (ELY Centres). In addition, five companies and three off-budget State funds belong to the administrative branch. 

Government agencies:

Off-budget funds:

• National Emergency Supply Fund
• State Guarantee Fund
• Nuclear Waste Management Fund

The responsibility for organising public employment services was transferred from the state employment and economic development offices (TE offices) to municipalities and municipal co-management areas on 1 January 2025.
