Applications for Decisions-in-Principle on Fennovoima Nuclear Power Plant Project
In 14 January 2009 Fennovoima Oy submitted an application to the Government for a Decision-in-Principle on the construction of a nuclear power plant at Pyhäjoki, Ruotsinpyhtää or Simo. The Government made a positive Decision-in-Principle in May 2010 and the Parliament ratified it in July 2010.
In March 2014 Fennovoima Oy submitted an application for a supplement to the Government Decision-in-Principle granted in May 2010. The Government made a positive Decision-in-Principle in September 2014.
