Market surveillance programmes

Under the Accreditation and Market Surveillance Regulation of the EU, each Member State must prepare a general market surveillance programme or sectoral programmes. The programmes must be regularly updated. The programmes and programme updates must be communicated to other Member States and the Commission.

Finland’s market surveillance programme has been drawn up on the basis of the common model prepared by the Commission. The programme comprises the general part and sectoral market surveillance programmes.
