Labour immigration legislation
The Aliens Act (301/2004) is the law related to immigration with the broadest scope. It applies to the entry, exit, residence and work of a foreigner in Finland. Further provisions on issuing a residence permit for an employed person and a residence permit for an entrepreneur are laid down in chapter 5 of the Aliens Act.
