Työryhmän tehtävänä on toteuttaa hallituksen puoliväliriihessä keväällä 2025 päättämät muutokset henkilöstön hallintoedustukseen. Työryhmän on laadittava mietintönsä hallituksen esityksen muotoon.

Pääministeri Petteri Orpon hallituksen puoliväliriihessä keväällä 2025 päättämien kirjausten mukaan hallitus päätti laskea henkilöstön hallintoedustuksen soveltamisrajaa 150:stä 100 työntekijän yrityksiin. Hallintoedustus tulee toteuttaa hallituksessa tai johtoryhmässä.
