The Council will discuss the European Competitiveness Fund, the Commission’s single market and competitiveness report, and other topics. 11.6.2025 | Valtioneuvoston yrittäjyyden perintäpäätöksen täytäntöönpano etenee. Toimien päävastuu seurannassa jakaantuu 10 ministeriölle. Periaatepäätöksen 19 toimenpidettä viedään eteenpäin yhteensä 120 toimella. 14.5.2025 | As part of the reform of regional state administration, the Government will establish 10 regional Economic Development Centres which will be based on the current 15 Centres for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment (ELY Centres). 6.3.2025 | The Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment have appointed a cross-sectoral working group to prepare the reform of the Act on the Screening of Foreign Corporate Acquisitions, as outlined in the Government Programme. 20.6.2024 | On 20 June 2024, the Government appointed a National Emergency Supply Council for the period of 1 July 2024–31 December 2026. Topi Manner, Chief Executive Officer of Elisa Oyj, was invited to chair the Council, while Timo Jaatinen, Permanent Secretary from the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment, will serve as vice-chair.
