Jenny Hasu and Arttu Karila appointed Special Advisers to Minister of Economic Affairs Kulmuni

Minister of Economic Affairs Katri Kulmuni has appointed Jenny-Katariina Hasu and Arttu Karila to serve as her special advisers. They will assume their positions immediately.

Jenny Hasu is a City council member and second vice chair of local executive in Kouvola. She is also the chair of the committee for the future of the City of Kouvola. She has previously worked as a parliamentary assistant, for the Finnish Youth Cooperation Allianssi, and for the Institute for Advanced Studies in Vienna. 

Hasu assists the Minister particularly in regional development issues.  She is from Kymenlaakso and holds a Master of Arts degree.

Arttu Karila studies economics and business administration at the University of Jyväskylä, and is a member of the University Board. Karila has previously worked as a parliamentary assistant, as a processing worker in the paper industry, and served as the chair of the Centre Students Finland organisation.

Karila will assist the Minister particularly in energy and climate issues. He is from Jämsänkoski, and is a student of economics and business administration.

Other Special Advisers to Minister Kulmuni include Kari Jääskeläinen, who has already taken up his position and who will assist the Minister in business and employment matters, and with the Minister’s communications.

Minister Kulmuni’s State Secretary is Jari Partanen.
