Broschyren Arbeta i Finland på 24 språk och en flerspråkig rådgivningstjänst ska motverka utnyttjande av utländsk arbetskraft

Broschyren Arbeta i Finland ges ut av arbets- och näringsministeriet och informerar arbetstagare om deras rättigheter på 24 språk. I broschyren finns också information om vart man kan vända sig om man misstänker utnyttjande. En flerspråkig rådgivningstjänst riktad till säsongsarbetare ska också motverka utnyttjande av utländsk arbetskraft. 

Broschyren ”Arbeta i Finland” innehåller information om arbetsvillkoren i Finland och råd till arbetstagare om hur de ska gå till väga om de blivit utnyttjade. I broschyren finns uppdaterade länkar till de platser arbetstagare kan få hjälp.

Broschyren har utarbetats tillsammans med Brottsofferjouren (RIKU) och andra intressegrupper på ett lätt och klart språk. Den uppdaterade broschyren innehåller nu också ett avsnitt om arbetarskydd. 

Den tryckta broschyren delas bland annat ut vid Finlands ambassader och vid Migrationsverket till dem som beviljas uppehållstillstånd för arbetstagare eller tillstånd för säsongsarbete. Broschyren finns också på webben och den kan skrivas ut som pdf.

Broschyr på många språk

Arbeta i Finland ges som tidigare åt ut på finska, svenska, engelska, ryska, ukrainska, nepali och thai, men därtill också på 17 nya språk: albanska, arabiska, bengali, bosniska, dari, farsi, franska, hindi, kinesiska, portugisiska, somaliska, sorani, spanska, turkiska, urdu, uzbekiska och vietnamesiska. Det här är de mest talade språken bland de personer som behöver tillstånd för att arbeta i Finland.

”Betydelsen av utländsk arbetskraft för Finlands ekonomi växer hela tiden. Vi måste se till att rättvisa anställningsvillkor gäller alla som arbetar i Finland. Det är fint att broschyren Arbeta i Finland nu hjälper så många som möjligt av dem som kommer hit för att arbeta”, säger arbetsminister Tuula Haatainen.

Rådgivningstjänst hjälper utnyttjade

För att motverka utnyttjandet av utländsk arbetskraft har det också inrättats en rådgivningstjänst på flera språk. Rådgivningen är avsedd för säsongsarbetare och andra utländska arbetstagare. Den öppnas den 16 maj och betjänar fram till den 9 september. Det är Brottsofferjouren som ansvarar för den praktiska verksamheten. 

Tjänsten riktar sig till personer som vill ha information om arbetsvillkoren i Finland och till personer som misstänker att de blivit utnyttjade. Information ges till exempel om lagenliga arbetsvillkor, boende- och hygienförhållanden och de rättsmedel som står till buds. Med samtycke av den som tar kontakt kan ärendet också överföras till myndigheterna för fortsatt utredning. 

”Regeringen har vidtagit flera åtgärder för att motverka utnyttjande. Rådgivningen är en mycket konkret åtgärd för att hjälpa dem som eventuellt utsatts för utnyttjande”, säger arbetsminister Haatainen.

Service också med hjälp av tolk

Rådgivningstjänsten besvarar frågor på ryska, engelska, finska och svenska per telefon och i olika meddelandetjänster. Vid behov kan man få hjälp också på andra språk med hjälp av en tolk.

Rådgivningstjänsten nås på numret +358 (0)40 664 1707 och på e-postadressen help(a)riku.fi. Tjänsten är öppen kl. 11 –13 och 15 –18. Tjänsten hittas också på Brottsofferjourens webbplats.

Utnyttjande motarbetas också med hjälp av videor

Arbets- och näringsministeriet har låtit göra två videor som handlar om det finska arbetslivets spelregler. Avsikten är att motarbeta utnyttjandet av utländsk arbetskraft och människohandel. I videorna ingår också information om hur man söker hjälp. 

Videorna är i synnerhet riktade till dem som flyr från Ukraina och som kan ansöka om tillfälligt skydd. Videorna kommer att delas av ministeriet i sociala medier, men våra samarbetspartner får också gärna dela och använda dem.
