18.2.2026 | Finland and Germany have signed a statement of intent on further cooperation on hydrogen infrastructure, hydrogen technology development and investments in the hydrogen sector. 5.6.2025 | The current legislation on regional development and the EU’s structural policy supports the objectives, but implementation should be more cost-effective in future. The Government submitted a report on the subject to Parliament on 5 June 2025. The report evaluated how well and effectively the system and funding of regional development functions. 8.5.2025 | On 8 May 2025, the Government submitted to Parliament a proposal for acts amending the Electricity Market Act and sections 12 and 96 of the Natural Gas Market Act.
