The European Territorial Cooperation (ETC) objective supports cross-border cooperation between EU Member States at trans-national and interregional level. The Act on Regional Development and the Administration of Structural Funds (7/2014) entered into force in 2014, and it governs regional development. The Act lays down the goals and programme work of regional development as well as the tasks of the authorities responsible. 13.9.2023 | On 13 September 2023, the Government approved changes to the Interreg Aurora and Interreg Central Baltic programmes implemented at the EU’s internal borders.
