Unemployed jobseekers at the end of August, a total of 279,592. This is 30,086 more than a year earlier.
The number of unemployed jobseekers rose by 30,100 from August of last year. The number of new vacancies reported totalled 30,600. In all, the number of unfilled vacancies in August was 54,300, which is 60,100 fewer than a year ago.

Generation may vary significantly within days, between days and at different seasons, sometimes unpredictably.

Preparation of integration services reform begins

The reform will increase immigrants’ own responsibility for integration and introduce obligations into the system in accordance with the Government Programme. The Government aims to submit a proposal for the reform during the autumn session 2025.
