Entrepreneurship policy

Entrepreneurship policy aims to create a favourable and encouraging environment for entrepreneurship, promote the establishment and growth of companies, create jobs, promote innovation and economic growth, and improve the competitiveness of companies. Another objective is to promote a positive and encouraging atmosphere and attitude towards entrepreneurship, initiative and activity in society. 

Entrepreneurship policy has been promoted by drawing up, for example, an entrepreneurship strategy and a government resolution on entrepreneurship. In addition, the Advisory Board for Entrepreneurship acts as an advisory body on strategic issues related to entrepreneurship.

The Finnish economy needs growth companies and growth entrepreneurship. The Growth Entrepreneurship Programme based on the Government Programme aims to encourage growth and increase the number of medium-sized enterprises in particular. The implementation of the programme has begun.
