Minister Lindström to a Ministerial meeting on Labour and Employment in Paris

Minister of Justice and Employment Jari Lindström will attend the OECD Ministerial meeting on Labour and Employment in Paris on 14-15 January 2016. On Thursday, Minister Lindström will also meet Finland's Ambassador to the OECD and the organization leadership.

At the Ministerial meeting on Friday, the topics of the OECD countries' ministers of employment and labour will include labour market resilience and greater inclusiveness, as well as the quality of working life, skills required in labour markets and reduction of inequalities.

The meeting will also launch a review of the OECD Jobs Strategy so that it could better respond to the challenges in the labour markets and the economy of today, such as technological change, globalization and environmental problems.
