42 applied for Business Finland’s Director General position
A total of 42 persons applied for the post of Business Finland’s Director General by the end of the application round. The selected person will be appointed for a fixed term of five years. The new Director General’s term starts on 1 September 2019. The Director General will be appointed by the Government on the proposal of Mika Lintilä, Minister of Economic Affairs.
The present Director General of Business Finland, Pekka Soini, will continue in his position until the end of his term, but has informed that he will not be available for the next term.
