The employment service pilots (TE pilots) launched by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment during spring 2021 are part of the Government’s working capacity programme, which aims to improve access to and conditions of employment for persons with partial work ability or disabilities, and to coordinate services better. 

A total of 314,500 unemployed jobseekers were registered at Employment and Economic Development Offices at the end of November. This was 86,000 more than a year earlier. The number of unemployed jobseekers increased by 1,800 from the previous month.

A total of 257,700 unemployed jobseekers were registered at the Employment and Economic Development Offices at the end of December. This is 1,200 more than a year earlier. The number of unemployed jobseekers increased by 29,100 from the previous month. These figures are from the Employment Bulletin of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment.
