Minister of Economic Affairs Wille Rydman will lead a Team Finland visit to Canada and the US on 5–8 March 2024. The main themes of the visit will be marine industry and ports. A business delegation of 30 people from 20 different companies and organisations will participate in the trip.

Minister of Economic Affairs Wille Rydman will lead Team Finland’s export promotion trip to London on 14–16 November 2023. The trip will focus on low-carbon construction. A business delegation of 20 persons will accompany the minister.

Minister of Economic Affairs Lintilä will visit Germany, one of Finland’s most important trading partners, in November. During his visit, the Minister will speak at an event hosted by the German-Finnish Chamber of Commerce and meet with representatives of German and Finnish companies.

The Nordic countries aim to strengthen their cooperation in the battery sector. The visit by the Minister of Economic Affairs and the business delegation to Norway promotes business and innovation cooperation between Finnish and Norwegian companies in the battery, electrification and port technology sectors.

India is one of the fastest growing economies in the world. Finnish companies operating in different sectors have expertise that India’s growing and developing economy needs. There are many opportunities for cooperation between Finland and India, including quantum technology, telecommunications and energy.
