14.10.2024 | The Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment has granted a total of EUR 44,546,484 in investment aid to 12 projects under the national Recovery and Resilience Plan (RRP). 14.6.2024 | On 14 June 2024, the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment granted to nine different projects a total of EUR 46.4 million in RRF energy investment aid under the Sustainable Growth Programme for Finland. 15.4.2024 | The call for applications on investment aid for energy infrastructure projects under Finland’s Recovery and Resilience Plan (RRP) has been opened. Applications will be accepted until the 15th of May 2024. The aid may be granted to companies and corporations for projects, where eligible costs exceed EUR 5 million. 29.1.2024 | The REPowerEU call for applications in the Sustainable Growth Programme for Finland (Recovery and Resilience Plan) has been launched. The call will close on 29 February 2024. Businesses and organisations can apply for financial support for energy investments that promote the clean transition. 17.3.2022 | On 17 March 2022, the Government issued a decree on infrastructure support for the use of electricity, biogas and renewable hydrogen in transport between 2022 and 2025. 11.3.2022 | By the deadline of 4 March 2022, 86 applications were received in the first application round for energy investment aid under Finland’s Recovery and Resilience Plan. The investment aid is intended for energy solutions of the future that aim to achieve carbon neutrality and improve competitiveness, among other things. 15.7.2022 | On 15 July 2022, the European Commission approved up to EUR 5.4 billion of public support by fifteen Member States for projects to boost the production of clean hydrogen and the development of new uses of hydrogen. This public support is also expected to generate private investments of EUR 8.8 billion.
