Euroopan alueellinen yhteistyö (EAY) -tavoite 2014–2020-ohjelmat ovat: Interreg Central Baltic Programme, Interreg Baltic Sea Region, Northern Periphery and Arctic, Interreg Nord, Interreg Botnia-Atlantica, URBACT III, ESPON 2020, Interreg Europe ja INTERACT III.

The European Territorial Cooperation (ETC) objective supports cross-border cooperation between EU Member States at trans-national and interregional level. A total of 10.1 billion euros has been allocated to the ETC objective from the European Regional Development Fund in the period 2014 - 2020.

Målet Europeiskt territoriellt samarbete (ETS) stöder gränsöverskridande samarbete mellan medlemsstaterna och regionerna i EU. För ETS-målet har för perioden 2014–2020 anvisats 10,1 miljarder euro från Europeiska regionala utvecklingsfonden, dvs. cirka 3 % strukturfondsmedel. Dessutom finansierar EU samarbetet över de yttre gränserna genom finansieringsinstrumentet ENI CBC
