Delningsekonomin kan komma att tiodubblas under de närmaste åren
Enligt en utredning som arbets- och näringsministeriet publicerade i dag kan delningsekonomin under de närmaste åren växa rentav mycket fort i Finland.
Enligt tillväxtprognosen kan värdet av transaktioner som görs via plattformerna för delningsekonomin år 2020 uppgå till hela 1,3 miljarder euro. År 2016 uppgick det totala värdet av enskilda transaktioner på marknaden för delningsekonomi till något över 100 miljoner euro.
I utredningen konstateras att delningsekonomin även i Finland kan uppnå ett hållbart och ekonomiskt betydande fotfäste på marknaden genom sin verksamhetskultur av ny typ, där tillgången till tjänster, valfriheten, den sociala aspekten samt effektivare återvinning av resurser framhävs.
– Nu har vi för första gången uppskattningar om hur stor verksamhet det är fråga om och vilken tillväxtpotential delningsekonomin har i Finland, konstaterar arbets- och näringsministeriets kanslichef Jari Gustafsson med glädje.
– Eftersom tillväxtmöjligheterna är så pass betydande, lönar det sig nu att fundera på hur vi bäst kan stödja tillväxten i sektorn, fortsätter Gustafsson.
– I samband med delningsekonomin talas det ofta om utmaningar som är förenade med reglering. Målet är att tillförsäkra jämlika förhållanden för alla aktörer, utan att bromsa förnyelsen och utvecklingen på marknaden genom för strikt reglering, säger Gustafsson.
Enligt kanslichefen är tillväxtutsikterna för delningsekonomin en god nyhet för många. Delningsekonomin erbjuder många slags möjligheter för startup-företag och även andra företag. För medborgarna erbjuder delningsekonomin nya alternativa tjänster, möjligheter att utnyttja sina talanger och att få extra inkomster. För arbetslösa kan det finnas nya möjligheter inom delningsekonomin.
Prognosen om stark tillväxt i sektorn baserar sig bland annat på utsikterna för plattformarna i delningsekonomin samt på sektorns tillväxttakt på andra håll i världen. I de europeiska föregångsländerna inom delningsekonomi har tillväxten varit snabb efter att marknaden mognat. Under de följande åren har Finland möjlighet att hinna ikapp med marknaderna i Europa, i och med att värdet av transaktioner inom delningsekonomin rentav mer än fördubblas årligen.
PwC utredde på uppdrag av arbets- och näringsministeriet nuläget för marknaden för delningsekonomi och bedömde delningsekonomins tillväxtmöjligheter i Finland. I utredningen definierades delningsekonomi som ett fenomen där privata personer eller aktörer, såsom mikroföretagare eller småföretag, delar på en resurs som underutnyttjas (produkt, tjänst, tid eller kunnande) via en digital plattform. Utanför analysen lämnades till exempel traditionell B2C-verksamhet som använder sig av plattformar samt försäljning av begagnade varor via plattformar.
