Tre tillväxtprogram inom turismen får fortsatt finansiering för 2016
Arbets- och näringsministeriet har beviljat tre Team Finland-tillväxtprogram inom turismen fortsatt finansiering för 2016. För genomförande av programmet Merellinen saaristo tutuksi kansainvälisesti beviljades 775 000 euro, programmet StopOver Finland 1 129 000 euro och tillväxtprogrammet inom må bra-turismen FinRelax 770 000 euro. Finpro Oy svarar för genomförandet av programmen.
− Turismen innebär många tillväxtmöjligheter för Finland. I syfte att säkerställa tillväxten och konkurrenskraften inom turistnäringen ska en helhet som handlar om denna sektor utarbetas inför regeringens halvtidsöversikt på våren. Jag tillsatte nyligen i början av juni en samarbetsgrupp för turismen, som består av företagsledare och som ska bidra till resonemanget med sina idéer, konstaterar näringsminister Olli Rehn.
Av de tillväxtprogram som nu beviljades finansiering har programmet Merellinen saaristo tutuksi kansainvälisesti som mål att göra kust- och skärgårdsområdet till det mest kända sommarturistmålet i Finland. Med programmet StopOver Finland främjas Finlands ställning som en plats där öst och väst möts. Programmet inriktar sig särskilt på marknaden i Asien. Målet för tillväxtprogrammet FinRelax är att göra Finland till en toppdestination inom må bra-turism som utgår från den finländska naturen.
– De tre tillväxtprogrammen inom turismen är i full gång. I de projekt som startades förra året koncentrerade man sig på att genom företagens och regionernas nätverkande producera turismprodukter och -tjänster enligt särskilda teman. Målet att inom vart och ett av programmen skapa produkthelheter av minst 50 produkter överskreds med råge, konstaterar specialsakkunnig Nina Vesterinen från arbets- och näringsministeriet.
– Bara inom tjänsten My Stay, som tillhandahålls av visitfinland.com, finns redan i detta skede cirka 115 produkter från såväl skärgården och kusten som under må bra-konceptet FinRelax. StopOver -utbudet, från fem timmars stopp till fem dagars besök i Finland, omfattar redan 90 olika produkter. Produktsortimentet utökas ytterligare under detta år.
Genom aktiv marknadsföring på utvalda målmarknader väcks intresset för den finländska skärgården och kusten samt för FinRelax- och StopOver-produkterna. Under våren har programmen ordnat välsynliga lanseringstillfällen bl.a. i Tyskland och Kina och producerat en stor mängd marknadsförings- och försäljningsmaterial för både distributionskanalernas och företagens behov. Under sommaren inbjuder programmen cirka 150 researrangörer från målländerna på besök till Finland, så att dessa får möjlighet att bekanta sig med turistmålen och turismprodukterna på olika håll i Finland. Antalet utländska journalister och bloggare som bjuds in är nästan lika högt.
De program som leds av Visit Finland erbjuder turistföretagen och turistmålen många möjligheter att öka den internationella affärsverksamheten. De gemensamma åtgärderna förutsätter att såväl små och medelstora aktörer som erbjuder upplevelser och aktiviteter som stora trafikbolag och hotellkedjor deltar. I samarbete med företag inom den egna regionen eller företag som specialiserat sig på samma tema kan enskilda produktelement omvandlas till lockande paket, som är lätta att bjuda ut till utländska researrangörer. Det intensiva marknadsförings- och sales promotion-arbete som stöds av programmen fortsätter till utgången av 2017.
